Google Pixel: RuPaul’s Valentine’s Day

Love Your Way

The Challenge
To position the new Google Pixel 2 as a premium device and highlight its camera features by connecting with a specific audience through a culturally relevant moment.

My Role
As Creative Director, I led a multidisciplinary team to capitalize on a perfect strategic opportunity: the finale of RuPaul's Drag Race coinciding with Valentine's Day.

The Solution: We developed the campaign "Love Your Way, Captured with Pixel 2," using RuPaul as the face of the campaign. The creative platform focused on celebrating self-expression and community, showcasing the Pixel's playful camera features while delivering a brand message that was both authentic and emotionally resonant with our target audience.

The Impact
The campaign successfully translated a product's technical features into a powerful, human-centered story that drove significant brand affinity and engagement. This work provided a strong strategic foundation for future creative, proving that a focus on cultural relevance and authenticity can drive massive business results.
